New Energy on the Zurich Asphalt: Ann-Charlotte Fontana and Nico Garapic are now taking over the leadership of our WE•TRST Run Club in Zurich. With extensive experience from professional sports and calisthenics, they bring exactly the right mix of endurance, strength, and team spirit that our community needs. We are ready for the next chapter.
Ann-Charlotte & Nico: The new pacemakers for the WE•TRST Run Club Zurich
Our Zurich Run Club is getting a permanent face – in the form of two people who embody our values 100%. Ann-Charlotte Fontana and Nico Garapic are now jointly taking the helm. No half measures, but two personalities who perfectly complement each other on the track and know what matters: community, endurance, and strength.
Ann-Charlotte – Team Spirit & Pro Mindset
Ann-Charlotte knows what it means to perform at the highest level. As a former professional youth volleyball player, she brings not only the necessary endurance but, more importantly, a feel for teams. You immediately sense this when she sets the pace or takes the lead during intervals. She doesn't just run ahead – she keeps the crew together, motivates, and pushes you exactly when it gets really tough.
Nico – Strength & Structure
Without strength, there is no endurance. Nico comes from the calisthenics and fitness sector and knows exactly how important core stability and strength are for runners. If you want to know after the run how to prevent injuries or how to effectively combine your strength training with your weekly mileage: Nico has the answers. He brings exactly the structure that makes us all better.
Why Zurich matters to us
Let's be honest: Zurich already has enough run clubs. But we are not here to be just another running group. We are here because a huge part of our WE•TRST community is based in Zurich and needs a solid anchor point. With Ann-Charlotte and Nico, we now have two people on site who breathe the WE•TRST vibe and fill the project with genuine substance.
What's next?
Zurich will not be a simple copy of St. Gallen. Ann-Charlotte and Nico bring their own visions and will give the Zurich chapter its own unique character.
Come by on one of the next Sundays at 11:00 AM in Zurich and get to know them.
BETTER TOGETHER
